Alligator & Wild Boar? Or Pad Thai & Spring Rolls?

Dear Good Lunchers,

We’re excited to announce Good Lunch‘s latest restaurant addition, Koh Samui & The Monkey.  Now, if you’re not intrigued by the quirky name, perhaps you’ll find some intrigue in some of their menu items: alligator, wild boar, frog, or escolar?  Now that I have your attention I’ll continue…

Koh Samui is the third largest island in Thailand, thus, Koh Samui & The Monkey is, you guessed it, a Thai restaurant.  They have the usual, and extremely well done, Thai dishes such as, spring rolls, Pad Thai, fifty shades of curry  – and all delicious I might add!  They also have some dishes with flare that are purely their own making such as:

  • Spicy Wild Boar – sautéed wild boar, young pepper, kaffir lime leaf, rhizome, and coconut with red curry sauce
  • Sweet Basil Frog – frog wok fried with fried basil, bell peppers, marinated in chili garlic sauce
  • Sizzling Alligator – hot plate of alligator, bell peppers, broccoli, onion, carrot, green bean and spicy peanut sauce

Now who in the office is “food brave” and willing to try these wild dishes?  What a fun lunch that would be!  So, for your next meeting or event, why not invite Good Lunch to delivery some tasty, somewhat unusual, and traditional comfort Thai dishes, from KohSamui & The MonkeyGive us a call and we’ll do all the arranging for you.  Just remember, we’re here for you!

Happy Lunching!
